IPEM: Summer Training Programmes


Summer Training Programmes

Training or Internship is a vehicle for introducing students to real-life situation, which cannot be simulated in the classroom. Therefore, training assignments must necessarily be those of direct interest to the host organization. Students are encouraged to take up time bound, multi-disciplinary and goal oriented assignments involving team work. As a compulsory part of curriculum, PGPM and MBA students are required to undergo Summer Internship with an organization for a period of 6-8 weeks. The selection process for Summer Placements starts after the first term for the first year students. The period of Summer Internship is normally during June-July.

Summer Internship Process

Step 1:

Students Submit the Resume Possible Internships are identified, Placement Team & /OR Company may contact the students to discuss through CRC Team.

Step 2:

Students accept the internship opportunity according to their specializations and area of inertest.

Step 3:

Students move to the company & begin Summer Internship for a period of six to eight weeks.
